Filtration systems air of Las Vegas presents a new media Purafil II Odorcarb

LAS VEGAS, NV (PRWEB) August 24, 2004

Purafil, the leading manufacturer of air filtration systems for removal of odors and gaseous pollutants, introduces a new dryer purification media which has an extraction capacity of hydrogen sulfide by 35 percent by weight (100 lbs Odorcarb II media will remove 35 lbs of hydrogen sulfide gas). Odorcarb II is an improved version of the original Purafil activated alumina Odorcarb, and about 75 percent longer than the previous formula. Odorcarb II will always provide customers with a UL listed, media acceptable landfill.
The increased capacity of

Odorcarb II allows systems with more efficient designs of upper air: The Purafil Tub Scrubber is designed for air from 1000 to 6000 cfm, the Deep Bed Scrubber is designed for air of 1.000 to 8,000 and the scrubber vessels designed air flow is from 8,000 to 20,000 cfm.

Odorcarb II is used for a variety of applications within the Environmental Systems Division (ESD) of Purafil and is the main support systems for ESD Purafil odor control. Odorcarb II is ideal for use in treatment plants wastewater pumping stations, wet wells, pumping stations and storage tanks of sludge.
